Social Samvad / Desk : Constitution Day was observed at the Railway Divisional Office, Chakradharpur. The event at around 11:00 am, was dedicated to honoring the adoption of the Constitution of India on November 26, 1949. The day was observed with great respect and enthusiasm, recognizing the importance of the Constitution in shaping the democratic framework of the country.

Shri Arun Jatoh Rathod (DRM/CKP) addressed the officials and staff, emphasizing the significance of the Constitution. He laid emphasis on the role of our Constitution in the functioning of government institutions, including the Railways. He encouraged to reflect on how the Constitution guides their duties and responsibilities as citizens and Railway employees, fostering a sense of duty towards the nation. This was followed by the pledge of upholding the ideals of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity, which are enshrined in the Constitution.
The event reinforces the idea that each individual plays a crucial role in upholding the values enshrined in the Constitution. It also serves as a reflection of the Indian Railways’ commitment to its role in nation-building, promoting unity, equality, and progress.
