Social Samvad / Desk : The highly anticipated parenting workshop, From Tantrums to Triumphs: Your Guide to Positive Parenting, was organized by Kerala Samajam Model School, Golmuri,on Saturday, 22nd February 2025, at the KSMS Auditorium, witnessed an overwhelming response. The event saw the participation of 150 parents, all eager to gain insights into effective parenting strategies.

The session, designed to provide practical guidance on navigating the challenges of parenting, lasted for 90 minutes and was conducted in an engaging and interactive manner. Parents actively participated, sharing their experiences and learning valuable techniques to foster positive relationships with their children.
The workshop was led by renowned child development expert Ms Saloni Priya who shared real-life scenarios, research-backed strategies, and practical tips to help parents manage behavioral challenges, encourage positive discipline, and nurture emotional intelligence in children.
The event was met with high praise from attendees, many of whom expressed their gratitude for the school’s initiative. “This workshop gave me a fresh perspective on parenting. The real-life examples and expert advice were incredibly helpful,” said one parent. Another parent remarked, “It was a very insightful session, and I now feel more confident in handling my child’s tantrums with patience and understanding.”
The school administration expressed its delight at the enthusiastic participation and positive feedback. “We are committed to supporting our students by equipping parents with the right tools and strategies.
